Start a blog, they said

It'll be fun, they said.

And maybe they're right.

It was this or a book, so until then here's a blog with pieces of me - unapologetic, real and raw. Ultimately, vastly different than I once imagined - fun, no longer the highest priority (it sits further down the list than I ever imagined it would) - replaced with connection, healing and purpose.

I sit here in a space of hope and passion that writing these will find the person they are intended for.

The person who finds themselves in a moment;

Who needs someone or something to connect to;

Who needs a glimmer of joy or the occasional laugh;

Who just needs to move through the minutes it takes to read these;

Who believes or wants to be or do better;

or someone with a heartbeat.

And especially for the person who may be sitting in the chair I once lived in.

For that to happen, I know I have to be vulnerable. I have to put it out in the world and watch the universe do its thing.

So, here we go - welcome to the ever evolving "the wanderful years"

A real, authentic blog about life and where I'm grounded. It's about the experience(s) that shape me and ultimately gave me my very own Wanderful Year(s).

We'll trip and heal and laugh and learn and round the sun together.
